Providing suitable toilet facilities is a fundamental part of site welfare. But where temporary accommodation is being positioned in a higher-risk location, the unit itself may also need enhanced fire protection.
RS French fire-rated toilet units provide a practical solution, combining essential facilities with 30 minutes of fire resistance from inside to outside.
They’re compliant with HSE’s site fire safety guidance, HSG168, and are suitable for projects where temporary accommodation is close to existing buildings, positioned within restricted boundaries or located within 6m of the scaffold line of a building under construction.

The units have been tested to destruction at Warrington Fire in accordance with BS EN 13501.
